Developer Rectified the Reported Defects After Our Professional House Inspection

Purchasing a new property is one of the biggest investments most homeowners will make. While a property may appear complete during handover, hidden construction defects can still exist.

Professional Inspection Observation Observation:

During the inspection, an active water pipe leakage was observed within the condominium unit. The leaking pipe was found to be discharging water continuously, resulting in moisture accumulation around the affected area.

Water leakage at the ceiling slab soffit is a common defect in residential, commercial, and high-rise buildings.

We discovered a clogged toilet basin caused by cement mortar blocking the water discharge pipe. Poor workmanship during renovation led to hardened debris inside the pipe, restricting proper water flow.

During the facade inspection, missing fixing screws were observed at the aluminium window frame. The absence of mechanical fasteners may reduce the structural integrity of the window installation.

During our inspection, water infiltration was identified originating from the concrete slab above, resulting in moisture seepage and staining on the ceiling soffit below. Thermal imaging technology was utilized to detect temperature differentials, confirming the presence of concealed moisture within the slab structure.

During inspection of the internal water tank area, water ponding was observed on the slab surface. The presence of standing water indicates possible drainage deficiency, improper slope, or waterproofing failure.
